Tell us how to reach you. After you submit this form we will email you a confirmation link, and that link is where you choose a username and password. Once you are signed in you can claim as many shifts as you like.

Register early — there is a legal filing deadline

Signing up for a shift is not the same as being cleared to serve. Florida law requires your name to be filed with the Supervisor of Elections in advance, and we can only do that if you have registered here in time.

  • Early voting shifts — register by noon, Monday, October 5, 2026
  • Election Day shifts — register by noon, Tuesday, October 20, 2026

Eligibility

1. To be a poll watcher, you must be a resident of the county in which you are a registered voter.

2. To be a Republican poll watcher, you must be a registered Republican in Polk County, Florida.

If you answered both of the above Yes, you are qualified to be a poll watcher in Polk County, Florida.

What does a City Manager do?

Recruit precinct Managers within a city, mostly through email and phone calling.

What does a Multi-Polling Place Manager do?

Recruit poll watchers for a group of relatively contiguous precincts nearest you, mostly through email and phone calling.

By registering you will receive emails about your poll watching shifts. By registering you may also receive general communications from the Republican Party of Polk County about events, meetings and other updates. You can unsubscribe from those at any time; shift reminders will still reach you. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
